BEARS: The Movement

Updated: Aug 10

đŸ» Save Florida’s Black Bears: A Mission of moving minds, Not Destruction

💔 187 Bears. One Choice.

Florida’s black bears are not the enemy — they are victims of disappearing forests, speeding traffic, and urban expansion.

Now, 187 bears face death under a newly proposed Florida Wildlife Commission hunt.

We’re here to say: Not this time. Not our bears.

Join us in launching the most compassionate, science-driven education plan alogside the push toward eco tourism and celebrating the sentinals of our forest . This is the first Florida has ever seen of its kind.

This mission — changing minds that bears are not a nuisance but a respected steward in our wildlife community.

Your support will fund the proposal for BEARS: The Movement, which involves 📣 a viral media campaign to flip the narrative — from fear to coexistence

Why This Matters Now - 2025

‱    In all of 5,000 years of recorded history, Florida has seen only one fatal black bear attack — ever, in 2025.

‱    Meanwhile, humans kill humans every 23 minutes in the U.S.

‱    Bears are intelligent, emotional, and generational learners. If we teach fear and violence, we pass that down through every species we touch.

We can choose differently. We can lead with science, heart, and healing.

🧭 Final Thought

Florida’s black bears have adapted, endured, and survived us — until now.

We have the plan, the team, and the science.

What we need now is you.

✹ Let’s show the world that conservation can be compassionate — and still wildly effective.

👉 Donate today. Be a voice for the voiceless. Help us flip the script, and celebrate not eliminate our wildlife.
